This season I have the first dog sweaters knitted! The sweater is made of good ALDI winter wool (30% pure new wool, 70% synthetic fiber) and was knitted with needles in the 7-rib.
My thought was that could do well in this cold, a dog with very short hair a sweater. Surprising to me was that you had Vera not used to the sweater! She has loved him from day one - clearly has the clever animal immediately noticed that you donate the sweater warmth.
An accurate measurement was not possible. Anyone have experience with boxers will confirm that you would have to anesthetize the dog it :-)
